One blind man grabbed hold of the elephant's trunk and declared the elephant to be a hose.

The last blind man tried to put his arms around one of the elephant's legs and declared it to be a tree.
Just as the blind men can each only describe one part of the elephant, so are we in any attempt we might make to describe God.
