The Oakley Arms was built over 600 years ago and the doors were shorter then...

The graveyard at St. Peters is where Thomas Button (d. 1617) is buried. The graves from that time are unmarked, so there is no telling precisely where he is located, but he's out there somewhere!

The Lockup

The town
drunktank.
The river is called The Great Ouse (pronounce ooze).
The 2nd and 3rd photos from the left in the row above are of a small hill which is actually man-made. The whole village at that location died from the Black Plague. The townspeople were piled up in a mound on that site and just covered over, resulting in the hill you see.
This is Mick and Jenny, proprietors of the Oakley Arms.
